On the evening of Tuesday, May 11th, 2021, Russell F. Roberts, one of our beloved Jorgensen Roofing team members suddenly passed away at the age of 56. We extend our sincerest condolences to the Roberts Family.
Russ will be remembered by his family, friends, and co-workers as a kind-hearted and caring soul, with a strong work ethic. Joining Jorgensen Roofing in the 1980s, Russ started as a young labourer alongside the Jorgensen brothers, and would go on to become our top senior foreman, helping to shape and grow the family business. Over his thirty plus dedicated years with the company, Russ came into work every day with a smile on his face. He took the time to teach his technique and pass on his experiences to his co-workers, encouraging many of them to be their best, and helping them succeed as the people they are today. From the office staff, to his fellow workers on the roof, to the many customers he met on a daily basis, Russ spread an unquestionable joy, which was exemplified by the passion and pride he took in his profession. Jorgensen Roofing may have lost an incredible man, but his memory will live on through the company for years to come.
We keep the Roberts family in our thoughts and prayers while we grieve the passing of this loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
